Unnumbered Water Wells
represent a follow-up to partially numbered water wells. From 1990 to 1995, the state sorted water well records by county only. Since 1995, wells that cannot be filed on a 2.5' section of a quadrangle are sorted by county and include wells that were plotted by Survey, Section, and Labor. GeoSearch reviews all unnumbered logs in the county or counties in which the site resides and includes them in the report.

In addition to the above categories, GeoSearch examines the Public Water Supply database maintained by TNRCC for any wells in the review area and includes a summary of the wells located in each category of the report. As well, GeoSearch reviews all maps and groundwater file information located at the TWDB and TNRCC and includes information on wells that may be in the area, but contain insufficient data to be located on the map.
