Fire Insurance maps

Dating from 1866, Sanborn® maps show the footprint of buildings and structures and include notes about construction materials, site uses, and locations of some storage tanks. A typical Sanborn® map will include:

• Addresses of buildings
• Construction materials
• Storage tanks (UST/AST)
• Chemicals and solvents used in the manufacture processes
